Hi, I’m Arnav Pandya.
I’m a student at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) in Durham, North Carolina.
How I like to build
I enjoy learning how things work and turning ideas into something I can actually use. Whether that means writing code, experimenting with AI, or designing something to make on a 3D printer, I like being hands-on throughout the process.
My interest in physical making started in 8th grade when I got my first 3D printer. Over the years, troubleshooting prints and working with CAD in Fusion 360 gave me an appreciation for practical design and patience when things don’t work on the first try.
Software & Learning
On the software side, I’ve been focusing on full-stack web development and exploring local, open-source AI models. I like building small utilities that solve real everyday problems in my school and coding workflows.
I’m still learning and trying new things every week. This website is a place to document what I’m working on and share what I learn along the way.
Finance & Journalism
Finance is a major interest of mine. Alongside technology and engineering, I enjoy exploring financial markets, economic structures, and how modern organizations allocate capital and scale sustainably.
I am also a journalist for NCSSM's Frontier journal, where I consistently conduct in-depth interviews with top CEOs and industry leaders across North Carolina and beyond, exploring their career journeys, strategic visions, and advice for the next generation of builders.

Experimenting with local, open-source AI models and exploring practical ways to integrate them into projects.
3D Printing
Making functional prints and mechanical parts since 8th grade. Learning CAD in Fusion 360 and dialing in slicer settings.

Exploring circuit design, microcontrollers, and combining physical hardware with software.
Model United Nations
Participating in conferences, discussing international policy, debating resolutions, and working toward consensus.
Badminton
Playing competitive rallies, working on agility, and enjoying high-energy matches on the court.
Jigsaw Puzzles
Assembling 1,000 to 3,000 piece puzzles. A quiet, patient way to focus on spatial patterns and problem solving.
